Befriending Champions
No one should feel alone in our community. Our Befriending Champions Programme matches trained volunteers with residents experiencing social isolation, offering companionship, support, and friendship.
How it works:
- One-to-one support for up to 8 weeks
- Meet for coffee, chats, or attend local groups together
- Safe, person-centred support with DBS-checked volunteers and full training
- Oversight and guidance from our Befriending Programme Manager
Whether you’re looking for a befriender or want to volunteer, this programme builds meaningful connections that make a real difference.
