OUR BEHAVIOURAL POLICY

Our centre is open to all.

People will be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, Disability or age.                  

Therefore, At all times people’s feelings will be valued and respected

The following behaviour is not acceptable.

*        Attacks (verbal or otherwise) on individuals or groups on any grounds, Colour, sex, disability etc.

*        Discriminatory name calling, obstructive behaviour, insulting remarks,  jokes or threats

*        Writing such remarks on walls or other places.

*        Encouraging other people to harass or discriminate against another individual or group.

*        Provocative behaviour such as wearing racist/fascist insignia.

*        Bringing into the premises discriminating or offensive materials/literature         which may cause offence.

*        All staff & volunteers in the centre have been strictly instructed not to tolerate any abusive, obstructive or threatening behaviour either towards themselves or centre participants.

*        This applies to any individual or group using or participating in any activity within Langworthy Cornerstone.

*        Failure to adhere to this policy may result in the person(s) being asked to leave the premises.

*        If they fail to do this promptly upon request, the police may be summoned.

          If the behaviour is deemed to be serious, the police may be summoned  without prior warning

*        The building is extensively covered by CCTV on continuous record, & evidence will be passed to the police as appropriate.
