Picnic and litter pick in peel park
Calling all nature lovers and community champions! Come and be a part of our exciting litter pick and picnic event at Peel Park. It's time to roll up your sleeves, grab a trash bag, and help us keep our beautiful park clean and green! 🚮 Litter Pick: Let's work together to tidy up our beloved Peel Park! Whether you're young or young-at-heart, everyone can make a difference by picking up litter and helping to protect our environment. Gloves, bags, and all necessary equipment will be provided. 🧺 Picnic in the Park: After all our hard work, it's time to relax and enjoy a leisurely picnic amidst the serene surroundings of Peel Park. Refreshments will be provided. 📅 Date: Tuesday, 14th May, 2024 🕒 Time: 12pm - 2pm, Litter pick from 12pm & Picnic from 1pm. 📍 Location: Peel Park, The Crescent, Salford. M5 4PD Meeting Point: Joseph Brotherton Statue @ 12.00pm

From The Art of Salford is a spectacular exhibition featuring the incredible talents of local artists. The LCA Gallery walls are alive with vibrant colors and captivating creations as artists have now set up their masterpieces. ✨ Join us on 18th April to meet the artists in a warm friendly gathering open to everyone. Join the Age UK Walking Sports Group, in partnership with Foundation 92. The Walking sports group gives people living with dementia and Memory loss a fun and active way to stay fit, meet new people and enjoy games in a relaxed and inclusive environment When: Thursdays, 1pm - 3pm Where: Albert Park, M7 2JW Just turn Up, no booking is required.
Dementia Swim Session at worsley leisure centre
Dive into Memories: Making Waves with Dementia Swim Sessions at Worsley Leisure Centre! Join us to create a safe and supportive environment for those with dementia to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of swimming. Swim sessions are held every Fridays from 11:45am - 12:45pm Book at the Worsley Leisure Centre reception desk.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY EVENT: WOMEN INTO VISUAL ART AND ENTERPRISE EXHIBITION
We celebrated International Women's day by opening the WIVA Exhibition as a joined-up showcase and celebration of the completion of the Women Into Visual Art (WIVA) workshops. Join us to celebrate these amazing women who have taken a step to explore their creativities, support and empower them. The exhibition will remain open for viewings throughout March till 5pm on March 31st, 2024.
