New Computing Classes for Adults started 14th January, 2025!
We’re excited to announce that Sovereign House GH, in collaboration with Langworthy Cornerstone Association, is introducing new computing classes for adults!
These classes, held every Tuesday 2 PM to 4 PM, and Friday 1PM – 3PM, are designed for adults aged 50 and above, helping you enhance your tech skills essential for today’s digital world.
Whether you want to refresh you knowledge or start from scratch, our program offers the flexibility you need to fit your busy lifestyle.
Sovereign House GH follows a structured learning program tailored to various skill levels. with experienced tutors to guide you through the essentials, building your confidence in using technology.
From the fundamentals of computer programming to enhancing your employability with in-demand digital skills, we have something for everyone.
Whether you’re a novice or already tech-savvy, the program is designed to empower you at every level.

Age UK Salford Carer Workshop: Smell and Taste Disorders
Did you know that 1 in 4 people over the age of 65 may have an impaired sense of smell and taste? These sensory disorders can significantly affect physical and mental health, wellbeing, and safety.
Join Helen Rhodes, Engagement and Education Officer from Fifth Sense, for an engaging workshop to learn about the causes, impact, and management of smell and taste disorders, including tips to stay safe and support available for carers and affected individuals.

Music In MIND: Music Café for People Living with Dementia
Join us at the Music Café, a welcoming space for individuals living with dementia to connect, enjoy, and express themselves through music.

Massage therapy sessions: Free 15-Minute Taster Sessions UNTIL THE End of January!!
Physio sessions with Sunny will run every Tuesdays with appointment slots from 2pm – 4:30pm.
Session includes:
– Clinical Assessment and Postural assessment.
– Treatment: Physiotherapy/ Sports and Muscle massage/ Lymphatic drainage (ranges from 30 mins- 45 mins sessions).
Services provided for 45 minutes/£15.00 (Client’s self-prepared towel and massage oil)
1) Swedish Massage, to reduce stress, anxiety and promote immune system
2) Manual Lymphatic Drainage For bloating, fatigue, puffy, swollen ankles or hands, swollen lymph nodes in your neck etc.
3) Sports Massage for active adults, GYM goers and sports professionals.
Services provided for 30 minutes/£10.00: Facial lift-up (self-prepared cream), Lower back pain, Frozen shoulders

Dive into Memories: Making Waves with Dementia Swim Sessions at Worsley Leisure Centre!
