Opportunity to Shape the Future of Langworthy Cornerstone Café
Invitation to Community Partners, CICs, Social Enterprises and Local Groups
Langworthy Cornerstone Association is inviting expressions of interest from community stakeholders, local partners, voluntary groups, CICs, social enterprises and interested individuals who would like to contribute ideas, proposals or potential delivery models for the future of the café at Langworthy Cornerstone.
The café has long been an important part of the centre’s community offer, providing a welcoming space for local people, centre users, volunteers, families, partners and visitors. As we move through a period of change management and review, we are exploring a new café model that is sustainable, inclusive, community-focused and responsive to local need.
We are particularly interested in hearing from groups, organisations or individuals who may wish to:
- Share ideas about what the café could become.
- Explore partnership opportunities.
- Deliver activities, events or community-led initiatives linked to the café.
- Support volunteering, training or employability opportunities.
- Develop a social enterprise or CIC-led café model.
- Express an interest in managing or operating the café within Langworthy Cornerstone.
- Help shape a welcoming, affordable and inclusive community café offer.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome creative, practical and community-minded proposals that consider:
- The café as a safe, welcoming and inclusive space.
- Affordability and accessibility for local residents.
- Opportunities for volunteers, skills development and training.
- Support for families, older people and people experiencing disadvantage.
- Links to health, wellbeing, food, creativity and social connection.
- Financial sustainability and responsible management.
- Partnership working with Langworthy Cornerstone and the wider community.
This is an opportunity to help shape the next stage of the café’s development and contribute to a model that reflects the needs, strengths and aspirations of the local community.

We welcome expressions of interest from:
- Community groups
- CICs
- Social enterprises
