Langworthy cornerstone Volunteering program
We offer an enriching 16-week Volunteer Programme designed to provide practical experience and valuable skill development for individuals in the community. The program is open to everyone aged 18 and above, particularly those looking to upskill.
Key Features
Induction (6 weeks): Volunteers will gain hands-on experience and 1-1 support with certification opportunities in essential areas such as safeguarding, food hygiene, fire safety, and first aid.
Experience (7 weeks): Volunteers will engage in various tasks such as customer assistance, working in the Café and Food Club, supporting art exhibitions, and contributing to the Centre’s social media and website.
Pathway Support (2 weeks): Volunteers receive guidance on career development, including CV writing, interview skills, job applications, and confidence-building.
End of Programme: Final week where Participants will celebrate their achievements, receive certificates, and benefit from continuous support and opportunities for future growth within the voluntary sector.
