‘In her Colours’ is the culmination of over three years hard work, which has taken the essence of an idea from Nigeria and transplanted it in Salford, where it has flourished.
The Women Into Visal Art Programme project supported women through workshops to use art as a catalyst to their own growth through the development of their art and creativity, and also by ensuring the women artists directly benefited financially from the sale of their artwork, thus providing an economic basis for their talents.
