What’s involved?

• Welcoming visitors and creating a friendly, inclusive first impression
• Answering general enquiries in person and by phone
  Signposting visitors to activities, services, and rooms within the building
• Supporting basic administrative tasks such as signing visitors in or recording attendance
• Helping maintain a tidy and organised reception area and meeting rooms.
• Assist with computer-based tasks and other administrative duties such as; general office administration, and data Entry into our CRM
• Working alongside staff and other volunteers to support the smooth running of the building
• Following Langworthy Cornerstone policies and procedures, including health and safety and data protection

Our Reception Volunteers are:

• Friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Reliable and punctual
• Respectful, inclusive, and non-judgemental
• Willing to learn and follow guidance (training provided)

Time commitment

• This is a flexible role that can fit around your availability
• Shifts typically last around 4–6 hours
• We ask for a commitment to agreed shifts to ensure consistency and reliability at reception
