  • Is friendly, approachable and a good listener.
  • Enjoys being creative and coming up with activities or quiz ideas.

  • Is patient, respectful and inclusive of people with different abilities and interests.

WHAT YOU CAN GAIN

Volunteering as an Activities Leader is a rewarding way to:

  • Meet new people and make a difference in your community.
  • Develop your communication, organisation and group facilitation skills.
  • Share your own interests and creativity with others.
  • Gain valuable volunteering experience.
  • Have fun and be part of a friendly team.

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Flexible to fit around school, college, or university commitments
  • Around 1–3 hours per week, depending on agreed tasks
  •  Each activity is on different days and times so you will need to be available on each of these days. You don’t need to be an expert in any of the activities — enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved are what matter most.

Most importantly, we want our Activities Leaders to have fun while helping people have fun, feel connected and enjoy spending time together.
