Job Vacancy - Development / Engagement Officer

Are you passionate about community development and improving health and well-being? Langworthy Cornerstone Association is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join us as a Development / Engagement Officer.

Langworthy Cornerstone Association operates at the heart of the community and is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of local residents. Our vibrant Community Centre hosts a variety of activities, and we’re committed to expanding our impact.

Role Overview:

As a Development / Engagement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the health and well-being landscape of the community. Collaborating with our dedicated team, you’ll support existing programs and spearhead the development of new opportunities for engagement. Your responsibilities will include reaching out to local groups, schools, and organizations, working closely with our Volunteer Coordinator, and aligning with the objectives of Langworthy Cornerstone Association.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive ‘menu’ of existing and potential activities, collaborating with local providers.
  • Research and gather information to enhance project objectives, contributing to the broader goals of Langworthy Cornerstone Association.
  • Develop and implement a project delivery plan, emphasizing the promotion and engagement of diverse community needs.
  • Lead the launch, delivery, and development of projects, including costings, risk analysis and identifying funding opportunities.
  • Collect data, and case studies, and produce monthly reports to monitor progress, adapting delivery as needed.
  • Provide monthly reports of your work to the Chief Officer, participating in appraisals and regulating activity to meet KPIs and quarterly objectives

Key Details:

Salary:  £29,174  – £31,099 p.a. (full time)

Hours: 37.5 p.w. (Hours are flexible to ensure cover; core hours 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri,

Langworthy Cornerstone Association (LCA)

FIXED TERM ONE YEAR, to be extended permanently following a successful service review.
